Susan Bozeman of the Queen B Soap Company has been a part of the Monroe Farmers Market for 3 years, and she continues to find natural solutions for individual’s problems. She has certainly grown to be a “Queen B”.
Like many people, Susan began making natural soaps as a hobby for herself and her friends ten years ago. She started out at the market where she was known as the “Bug Lady”, and she grew famous for her non greasy, and sweet smelling insect repellent. The Queen B insect repellent was the answer for Susan, as she consistently did not like the feel nor smell of commercial repellents. This drove her to research and develop the natural Queen B insect repellent that is still very popular.
From this humble beginning, Susan created and expanded the Queen B Soap Company, offering repellent, soaps, creams, bath salts, natural deodorants, and a new facial care line. Queen B strives to make her items as natural as possible by using honey from the Foster Brady Farms (another Monroe Market vendor). Bozeman’s eagerness to investigate and meet individual’s needs comes
through as she speaks with her customers. At her booth, one finds an easy smile and several books and notebooks filed with the Queen B’s notes and research. Susan is quick to offer to look things up, mail items, and to follow up with people to be sure that her suggestions have worked for them. Susan is anxious to expand her natural facial care line. She plans to add a foot and hand care line along with massage oils. We are all excited to see what this amazing vendor will bring to the market next! Susan Bozeman is certainly the “Queen B” of the Monroe Farmers Market!
